Welcome to the first step in your healing journey. This is an important time in your life, marked with courage as you reach out for support and counsel. I have always been struck that beginnings sometimes feel more like coming to the end of ourselves as we realize that we cannot “go” things alone any longer. In a sense, some things need to end before the new beginning can take hold and as in all things, endings can be painful, but so necessary. So welcome to your beginning.
